Our entire veterinary staff really enjoys the use of Neutersol for neutering the puppies. Its much easier and faster and the puppies do not have any discomfort and we've had no complications. We're happy the puppies avoid the bleeding, the metal sutures, the soreness and the collar of surgery. They rebound almost immediately after Neutersol. The puppies' owners are happy they don't have to be away from their pets overnight and can pick them up on the same day. One of our clients runs an animal rescue group and she has the rescued puppies Neutersoled because she is able to place them in a loving home so much sooner.

Pleased with Humane Alternative
As the veterinarian who gives the Neutersol injections at Valley Oak SPCA in Visalia California, I am very excited to have this alternative to surgical castration.
Overall I would have to say we are pleased. I am amazed at how well tolerated the injections are - most don't even seem to notice. A few yip, one had a problem being on his back. We cradled him in someone's lap and gave him some Ace - that helped. We do prefer to fast the dog prior to the procedure. The next day, even though the testicles are swollen, they are happy and seem to be pain free (they wag their tails vigorously). We have not felt the need to give any pain medication.

Neutersol® has given my clients an attractive option to common surgical neutering. I encourage clients to elect Neutersol® for their puppies during their booster vaccination series between 12 and 16 weeks of age.

Thanks for making such a great product. Neutersol has helped us to speed up our patients recovery time ten fold. No more post operative care, removed sutures or returned symptoms. These dogs leave here feeling good and the owners are happy as well. It has been our experience that up to 24 hours post procedure there may be some minor swelling as well as a little lethargy. But, this has only happened in very few of our patients. Most have no symptoms at all. It has given us a lot more time in our day, as well as giving us the ability to do more “surgeries” that normally we would not have been able to “fit” in our schedule. We have used this product for a few months now and should say that we have been completely happy with the results.

Encourages Owners to Neuter
As a veterinarian, I am delighted to have the ability to sterilize puppies whose owners would not subject to surgery. I am also relieved that Neutersol is available for puppies that carry a high risk for anesthesia.
Unlike surgical castration, with Neutersol, there is no bleeding, no sutures, no wound licking, and a very short recovery period. Most puppies don’t even object to the injections, and I have only needed to sedate two. The post-injection discomfort appears very minor compared to post-op discomfort.
More than half of our male puppy owners opt for Neutersol because they do not want to subject their pets to the inherent risk of surgery or they do not want their puppy to have his testicles removed.

Veterinarian Mission Brings Neutersol® to Assist in Reducing Pet Overpopulation
Our recent veterinary mission to three villages in Baja California, Mexico, provided spay/neuter services to help reduce pet overpopulation. During the course of our six day mission to Pescadaros, Todos Santos and La Riberia, our volunteer medical team saw over 200 animals and injected a significant number of young male dogs with Neutersol®. The dogs were either strays or belonged to people who couldn’t afford traditional veterinary services. We all were impressed with the ease, speed, and effectiveness of Neutersol in the field, making our working there much easier, safer, and faster. We experienced an immediate recovery time for our patients with almost no side effects. Neutersol is a significant advance in the work of assisting underdeveloped countries, especially in remote areas where traditional veterinary facilities are unavailable, to reduce the dog overpopulation and its dangers.

Neutersol -- So Much Better Than Neutering Surgery
In my experience, everything about Neutersol is so much better than traditional neutering surgery. The Neutersol chemical injection into each of the puppy’s testicles has been, in my hands, pain-free for the puppy, takes less than five minutes, and can be given to puppies as young as three months of age.
Neutersol is nearly risk-free since there is no general anesthesia; no bleeding as there is no cutting; no skin stitches for the puppy to lick or chew out, and therefore there is no bruising; no open wounds; no seromas; and no infections. Basically, there is an "instant" recovery time.
As long as both testicles have descended, "Neutersoling" your male puppy is the most humane, least stressful, safest, and healthiest way of "fixing" or "neutering" him. The advantages to your puppy are so far above the old technique of surgically removing both testicles. For you, the pet owner, the advantages exceed surgical neutering. Neutersol only requires one vet visit for the procedure, no days-on-end of watching your puppy to make sure the stitches and/or incision aren’t disturbed as you wait for the wound to completely heal. For the comparable fee, Neutersol is really, by far, the best solution.
My staff and I have been fully intrigued by the lack of pain in performing the Neutersol injections. We have treated the little, hyper breeds like Chihuahuas and dachshunds that just hate to be restrained, small to medium breeds like the cocker spaniel, beagle, and shar pei, all the way up to the large breeds, and a variety of mixed breeds. Neutersol has been performed at my clinic, and the puppies picked up and taken home afterwards – all like a day of "out-patient" surgery. And, as we also operate a mobile house call practice, we have performed the procedure in people’s homes. We have been extremely impressed at the sheer quickness and ease of the procedure.
Except for some common sense cases like a puppy with undescended testicles or with scrotal sac that is covered with demodex mange, Neutersol is my only choice for neutering pups three to 10 months of age.
My clients, my patients, my staff and myself, by way of the virtually pain-free, risk-free experiences we have had, are all very impressed with Neutersol.
